This Shaker Style Kitchen features Oak shaker doors painted in a subtle Sage green finish, with Composite worktops and Karndean flooring blending into the new carpeted area of the adjoining dinning area in an open plan style.
Shaker furniture came to America from Manchester, England in 1774. Shaker furniture is a distinctive style of furniture designed by a religious sect founded by Jane and James Wardley.
Today's Painted shaker kitchens have developed over the years and form the design of much spin off furniture styles. The simplicity of the shaker furniture lends it's self to many interiors within our modern style of living today. Certainly in it's natural form of oak or other timbers look elegant and timeless. Simply painting a shaker door adds warmth and individual style to suit just about any room in a house.
To follow the pail Sage green finish, most of the appliances came in a white finish. This included the White double ovens and white induction hob. Also in the white was a Franke Swing extractor hood.
This shaker kitchen project was pretty straightforward. All that was required of us was to supply and install the kitchen, appliances and other miscellaneous products.
'I would like to say how pleased we are with the new kitchen, and how stress free the installation was. Having now had time to enjoy it I cannot fault anything. Thank-you.'
